Office Tips
planning ahead can make your visit more comfortable

There are some things that can make your visit at the doctor's office more comfortable if you plan ahead.

If the reason for the visit involves your hips or lower legs, you may want to bring a pair of your shorts with you to wear during your examination.  We can provide shorts but you may feel more comfortable wearing your own.

Some of our female patients like to wear a tank top under their blouse or shirt to have on for their shoulder examinations.  We also have gowns that can be provided.

If there is a possibility you will need a cast on your leg or foot, do not wear jeans or slacks that will not fit over a bulky cast.  You will not be able to fit them on after the cast is applied.  Sweat pants or shorts would be good choices for you to wear after the cast is applied.

When you come to the doctor's office with a cast on, you may want to bring a shoe or slipper to wear home if the cast is removed.

We have a wheelchair available in the office to assist you from your car if you are unable to walk into the office.  Have whoever is with you come into the office and ask for the wheelchair to take out to your vehicle.  Then they can wheel you into the office.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 530-246-2430.
